Lee Perry & Silvertones / Shenley Duffus - Standing On The Hill Shenley Duffus started his singing career in the 1950's and recorded many Ska songs in the 1960's. "Standing On The Hill" was release in the UK in 1973 on the Pama label, a Jamaican 7" release has not turned up yet. Lee Perry later voiced the riddim as well. Great harmonies by the Silvertones.
This new album entitled "The Arch" catches the essence of the music of the one we now call "the raggamuffin princess"!
