Produit par Bosco Mann et Thomas « TNT » Brenneck, ce nouvel opus a été enregistré live en 48h au Daptone House of Soul Studios, mais conçu tout au long de ces deux dernières années durant lesquelles THE BUDOS BAND a alterné concerts explosifs (150 dates en 2 ans) et séances d'écriture arrosées au houblon dans leur fief de Staten Island.
