Afrobeat Masterpeace !

I think this album is one of the more representative for Fela in general. Both tracks on the album are exactly what you should expect from Fela's music and Afrobeat in general.
Both tracks on this album are very instrumental. Dog Eat Dog is completely instrumental, while the titular No Agreement, has a short lyrics at the end of it. As it's standard for Fela, the lyrics are very political. But honestly if you want to hear a more specific political message from Fela, maybe check albums like Zombi, Unknown Soldier and Coffin for the Head of State. As the message here is somewhat "generic": no agreement, until we're not oppressed anymore.
I've read that some (official) reviewers called the title track "one of the greatest pieces of dance music ever recorded." And I can agree to that. But again, that's what I mean with this album being representative of Flea's music in general, as most of it is similar to this.
So in the end I recommend this album to those interested in Fela or Afrobeat in general, and also to those who might not have heard of Afrobeat or Fela up to now. I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy it either way.
