The dynamic and festive BoOgAloO ZoO project is fusion of Jump and Blues riffs with African and Caribbean rhythms. This musical creation transports us back in time to the heady atmosphere of Brooklyn and New Orleans at the beginning of the Seventies.
BoOgAloO ZoO is a brand new visual and scenic show that mixes music, improvisation, video, narration and song. It’s a journey that joins together sounds from greats such as Ray Charles, Lallo Schiffrin, Ray Berreto, Grant Green and Isaac Hayes. Phil JL Robert et 3Kindred Spirit spread the new world music word via two major musical forms of expression from the 20th century: Blues and Jazz.
The driving force behind this project is a burning desire to revive the singularly enriched bright sounds of migrant people. Phil JL Robert et 3Kindred Spirit want to share this spirit with you to bring us all together with infectious joy and no little emotion, lest we forget.

1980 album from the Soul singer, songwriter, musician, producer and actor. And Once Again was the fourth solo studio album released on Polydor Records from Hayes. The follow up to the hugely successful Don't Let Go, And Once Again took a softer approach and focused more on the fantastic ballad talents of Isaac Hayes. Notable tracks on the album include the supplicating serenade, 'Ikes Rap VII/This Time I'll Be Sweeter' which consistently builds and grips throughout it's duration and the up-tempo 'I Ain't Never' which contains the trademark driving bassline that captivates the listener.

Introducing John Carroll Kirby, just one star in the constellation of Los Angeline music, but one who has worked with the likes of (drum roll, please) Solange, Norah Jones, Frank Ocean, Miley Cyrus, and Bat For Lashes, among others.In truth, you can probably hear as much of those artists as you can another of his conspirators, Connan Mockasin, here. Cryptozoo is a record out of time, but perhaps not timeless. We wander through strange ambient jazz, elevator hooks, and cut scenes from a forgotten Final Fantasy game. It's the past and present, it's familiar and yet exploratory, and it makes perfect sense as aural accompaniment to a movie about metaverse beasts.
