Seekers International presents the limited cassette version of its forthcoming mixtape, Healing Hifi. Their usual experimental electronische pastiche of reggae, dub and dancehall is heard here, with an additional paradisiacal bent added into the mix, helping cement its healing properties. Seekers join the likes of Kincaid, Chee Shimuzu and Lil Mofo for the new mix series, ever-nailing their quest to lift the collective consciousness out of a toxic swamp via a lubricating musick.

The influence of The Crown Prince of Reggae, as Bob Marley used to call him, still looms large over the genre 20 years after he passed. The latest reminder of his considerable talent comes from this gem Dennis made with Jux produced by Niney in 1977. "Blessed Are The Men (The Pill)" is unusually long for a dub track at over six minutes, but it sinks you into it throughout via the cuddly groove, sliding snares, hanging guitar twangs and buttery vocals. Flip over for Junior Delgado's "Cry, Cry", an impassioned anthem with plenty of blazing potential.

Butterflying — the latest offering from Italian multi-instrumentalist, producer and selector, Tommaso Cappellato — is an honest celebration of musical evolution.Inspired by a recent trip to NYC (where he spent most of his formative years) and a beat tape by definition, these eight tracks saunter between lo-fi hip hop and free jazz, from downtempo electronica to ambient bliss; the result of an open-hearted approach to discovery and time spent meticulously unearthing, rearranging and merging old and new material.créditsTommaso Cappellato - drums, keys, programming, mixingMatteo Alfonso - piano on “Splinters Of A Rainbow Heart”Andrea Lombardini - electric bass on “Splinters Of A Rainbow Heart”Yu Lin Humm - cello on “Humming Beings”Alberto Lincetto - keys on “Catch Me If You Can”Piero Bittolo Bon - flute on “No Flies For A Closed Mouth”
