Delachaud Anita Ep dispo Discopathe Montpellier !

Anita Baker, quiet storm legend and balladmaker, gets two of her most heartwarming classics remixed by Krewcial, with Texan vocalist Sheelah Monae filling in for Baker's original vox. 'Sweet Love' hears a lounge and club mix respectively, both versions heavy on the most broken housey, piano-centric moods. 'Whatever It Takes', meanwhile, gets a club mix and an intriguing version of the original acoustic, rapidly homing in on disco strings and deep-hit bass licks.

We know nothing about DSO, but we do know that this is another syrupy serving of pop, deep house and soul that is pure dance floor bait. The first sure fire party starter is 'Baggage' with its gorgeous r&b vocal sample, airy and soulful house grooves and jazzy neo soul piano work. It's a real heart melter to spread love and joy, then things get more funky on the flip. The catchy 'Involved' has a male R&B vocal this time, with more slinky house beats and natty little chord riffs that permeate deep in your soul. If you can't cut loose to this one, you're dead inside.
After three standout EPs on Atomnation, Japanese producer and live artist Ryunosuke Hayashi a.k.a. boys be kko serves up his long-awaited debut album. Hensa is a serene nine-track electronic trip that oozes musical charm. He makes his music in a studio with its own roof terrace and counts the likes of &ME and Bonobo as fans while Running Back boss Gerd Janson has remixed him in the past. This new album finds him expand on his always emotive, clean and futuristic fusion of house, disco and melodic techno in alluring new ways. This is a brain-cleansing, soul-enriching work of melodic electronic perfection from boys be kko.
The music on this compilation was, for the most part, originally released privately in Geneva as a box set containing five LPs by The Mega Wave Orchestra and five prints by the artist Richard Reimann. The Mega Wave Orchestra, the brain-child of musician, mathematician and composer Christian Oestreicher, was conceived as an multi-media electronic music orchestra. It was comprised of seven keyboard players Christine Schaller, Vincent Barras, Jacques Demierre, Olivier Rogg, Rainer Boesch, Roger Baudet, and Benoit Corboz, with Oestreicher as arranger and producer. The Mega Wave Orchestra created a new hybrid music. It was a music with roots in the jazz and classical traditions, but one which also drew on the sonic freedom of musique concrete and the kind of total experience offered by psychedelia. The diverse backgrounds and specialisms of each of the band leaders/writers resulted in a wide variety of music across the five discs: from austere drones and granular aural detail to warm oddball fusion and gorgeous but cracked vocal jazz. There are useful contemporary comparisons to be made: zoned synth jazz like the Azimuth LP on ECM or Karin Krog’s Freestyle; Larry Heard’s sequencer dreamtime; the Valium minimalism of Pep Llopis or Jun Fukamaki; Dexter Wansel’s shimmering arrangements for Loose Ends, or even the FM sheen meets cold war threat of Donald Fagen’s Night Fly. Here, too, is the sound of music technology about to snowball and define its own aesthetic, unknowingly prefiguring auteurish bedroom producers like Black Dog or The Detroit Escalator Company.

Mara’amu a wind blowing in Tahiti. Migjorn is a southern hot wind, rare and moderate, blowing in the Roussillon, France. A white squall is a sudden and violent windstorm at sea which is not accompanied by the black clouds generally characteristic of a squall. Chergui (Arabic : šarqīa شرقية) is the name of a continental southeasterly wind which blows on the most part of Morocco, a hot and dry wind coming from the Sahara Desert. A williwaw is a sudden blast of wind descending from a mountainous coast to the sea. The word is of unknown origin, but was earliest used by British seamen in the 19th century. BEAK> were formed in January 2009 by three Bristol musicians, Billy Fuller, Matt Williams and Geoff Barrow. The band have very strict guidelines governing the recording and writing process of their work. The music was recorded live in one room with no overdubs or repair, only using edits to create arrangements. All tracks were written over a twelve-day session in SOA Studio’s, Bristol. The album is released on Invada Records in the UK and Europe & on Ipecac in the United States.Sometimes a band can be no more than the sum of it’s parts, but BEAK> are an equation in which it’s impossible to define equivalents or totals. Instead the meeting of three talent’s form a foundation from which idea’s assimilate and propagate. Those talents are:Billy Fuller. Reared in Bristol, on an aural diet of anything and everything, facilitated later by his time working in the cities top independent record shop Replay Records, and also playing with handfuls of bands – including Invada’s first signing: Fuzz Against Junk, as well as Massive Attack, Robert Plant, and Malakai. Billy is BEAK>’S thoughtful pulse; his bass a forceful origin for their superlative narrative arcs.Matt Williams. Picked up a Yamaha keyboard aged three and never looked back, as Team Brick creates dissonance that immediately elucidates free forming thought, and impacts heavily on BEAK>’S rolling landscape. He enjoys playing air drums whilst cycling, singing lines from a favourite Latin prayer and doesn’t understand the music he makes himself.Geoff Barrow. Musician and producer born near Bristol. Best known for forming and producing popular music group Portishead and part owner of the independent record label Invada Records . Commenting on working in BEAK> "its really good to create music under different conditions than your used too.”"
