Born from a carte blanche at Cave12 in Geneva in October 2016, TOUT BLEU is the solo project of SIMONE AUBERT (guitarist in MASSICOT / drummer and singer in HYPERCULTE) which has developed into a trio, accompanied by the electronics of the Stakhanovist musician POL, and the deeply ample & masterful electrified violin played by AGATHE MAX. Simone explores with her first album, a sort of atmospheric no-wave, a pre-rock invitation of travel and introspection. Simone's voice, reminiscent of Siouxie, Anne Clark or Nico arises on mesmerizing sound texture and calls as much to a new collective meaning than a crying out, a desperate shout alone, far from all, in the middle of the forest. The result is an all-encompassing music, dark, tense but full of sweetness and nourished with hope.crédits

LUXXURY (born Blake Robin) is the LA Beatmaker who really comes correct on this new EP on Nolita Records. It features four of his freshest tunes to date and if the title is anything to go by it could be the start of a fine new series. Things start all sensuous on 'Let's Stay Together' before the stylish cosmic disco Rhdoes and smooth grooves of 'Don't Give Up (I Believe In You)' and breezy, hip swing charms of 'Pleasure' make a great impression. 'Two Hearts' rides on nice languid bass riffs and last of all comes the upbeat, piano laced and hands in the air jam, 'Hold On (Crackazat remix).'

The vinyl edition expands on the spirit of correspondence with poetry readings by Zoe Brezsny, Ivanna Baranova, Tessa Bolsover, Jessica Rae Elsaesser, and Luciá Hinojosa Gaxiola, assembled by Breszny and RVNG.Salutations signals a series of meetings, greetings, group assemblies and exercises along the invisible plane created through correspondence. This is the inaugural compilation of new music from RVNG, inspired in part by a collaboration with Adult Swim. The question of how similar we are arises in the simple form of contact, and how we choose to embrace the potential of that moment and one another. Through correspondence, we connect, communicate, and form community. At first, correspondents with one another, and through the processes of collaboration and transmission, we correspond to parallel and intersecting collective cores.This eternal network, perhaps informed (consciously or subconsciously) by some celestial or spiritual force, becomes a portal to practice social responsibility and an access point to a wider, inclusive universe of information. In turn, the network becomes a human phenomenon, as well as a potent demonstration of art and collectivism.
