Moving Still Edits

A
Bashar - Omrena (Moving Still & Disco Arabesquo Edit)
B
Firkit El Lotus - Nerjaa (Moving Still Edit)
The Disco Arabesquo label seems to have a perfect name for what it is offering up for its first release. This new two-track edit 12" offers up a fine fusion of disco sounds and Arabic melodies and vocals. First up is Bashar's 'Omrena' which is tweaked by Moving Still & Disco Arabesquo. It becomes an arp-driven Middle Eastern workout with lots of glossy synths. Moving Still then steps up again on the flip with Firkit El Lotus's 'Nerjaa' offering a more soulful and funky vibe but of course with an Arabic twist once more. This is a great start to what promises to be a handy label.
