Remastered and re-issued for the first time since its original release. Essential!!!

Virtual Geisha is a further exploration of the culture and technologies from the land of the rising sun by Heinrich Mueller. This time the inspiration is more adult and Manga orientated and even goes a little more 'poppy' with Y.M.O insprired tracks. On Virtual Geisha there's also a first glimpse of the directions he'd take his other projects in the future on tracks like 'Enter Mrs. Suzuki' and 'Japanese Matrix'. While still keeping true to his Detroit Hi-Tech Machine Funk roots with Electro anthems like 'The Making Of Ultraman' and 'Beta Capsule'.

The album comes with download code for bandcamp digitalrelease.

ISLE011 is a collection of cassette recordings made in Athens by Christos Chondropoulos over the last five years. Coming from an avant-garde percussion background, Christos calls upon themes of ancient Greek folklore and musical tradition through a futurist lens depicting robotic societies in post-human harmony. He constructs worlds reminiscent of Marcello Giombini’s Mondial Folk series or Umiliani’s exoticised Omicron outings. By looking to the future rather than the far-off past, he builds upon these early instances of technologically charged cultural geography and presents an authentically Greek reading of a parallel Athenian basin. Where his last work for 12th Isle explored once-forbidden tunings and unplaceable tonalities, these recordings further expand on the artist’s simultaneous concern for heritage and imaginary projection. Across the final Side D, Chondropoulos explores themes of maternal love present across the album by working with local singer Sofia Sarri to record six piercing, beautiful acapella phrases.

Very secret imprint, beautiful music. Cosmologic, gravitational, exploration.
Emerging from beneath the Seine, Parisian outfit EZEPH resurface with their debut release. The French duo are no strangers to working under heavy pressure: after a long expedition spent submerged and isolated, they are finally ready to showcase their unique sound to those at surface level.Title track Observance features a solemn sermon on the direction of society, delivered over a deep, shuffling dub techno riddim. On the flip the vocal is cut, leaving a raw chugging, high pressure version.EZEPHObservance (1 per customer)Challenger Deep
The Black Madonna, Liit, Aardvarck and Herva remix Nick Höppner’s Folk. It's great to watch the path that The Black Madonna has taken lately. Chicago’s Smart Bar resident has been tearing up clubs around the world, but few nights compare to her taking over Panorama Bar after Nick Höppner's set in March 2014 – that night was Disco and House mayhem on the dancefloor. Her remix of “Relate” puts more emphasis on the kickdrum, turning Höppner's dreamy original into a sturdy, 4/4-heavy House monster. A proper hit and proof of her singularity!A similar yet different approach comes from Berlin-based duo Liit: Their remix shines some wan and oppressive light on the album's buoyant pop gem “Come Closer”, really adding by subtracting. More unusual sounds and additional production are served with Dutch Aardvarck's treatment of “Grind Show” – a deep and mesmerizing piece of dancefloor voodoo and a classy earcatcher. Last but not least Herva jams on the brake, making “Rising Overheads” a slowed-down multi-layered offbeat deep dub with an overall sound & style of its own. With Remixes Nick Höppner follows up on his solo debut album release Folk. While the album served as a peek inside Höppner’s musical mind, these four new versions extend the tribalist mindset of Folk to Höppner’s diverse musical agenda and taste.Remixespar Nick Höppner
