Belle copie w/ inner sleeve. Pressage français. Avec Green, Steve Hillage renoue avec ses deux premiers albums, avec des titres space et des spirales de synthétiseurs. Mention spéciale au très funky Unidentified (Flying Being) et à The Glorious Om Riff, reprise de Master builder de Gong, paru en 1974 sur You. C'est le dernier album rock réussi de sa période solo, avant une nette baisse de qualité sur les opus suivants, hormis Live Herald et l'ambiant Rainbow Dome Musick. C'est un des albums préférés d'Ed Wynne, le guitariste/claviériste d'Ozric Tentacles1.La pochette représente une Pyramide poisson de John Michell, un auteur et peintre britannique qui a un intérêt particulier pour les formes géométriques. Son travail repose sur la figure géométrique Vesica piscis : l'intersection de deux cercles de même diamètre dont le centre de chacun fait partie de la circonférence de l'autre.L'album est d'abord sorti sous la forme d'un vinyle vert transparent, puis sous celle d'un disque noir normal. L'édition verte était assortie d'un poster de Hillage devant une chaine de montagne, avec la "pyramide poisson" imprimée sur le visage2.Cet album se classa à la 30e place des charts britanniques.Steve a beaucoup utilisé une guitare synthétiseur Roland GR-500 sur l'album. On notera la présence de Nick Mason à la batterie sur la pièce Leylines to Glassdom sur le disque original, ainsi que Clive Bunker ex-Jethro Tull, aussi comme batteur sur les 4 pièces bonus enregistrées en concert au Rainbow de Londres, sur la pièce Not Fade Away (Glid Forever). The Black Pearl is very proud to present a real 80´s futuristic proto club banger from the STRÖER Brothers, with lots of clubby remixes by buddies & friends. The original track "Night Falls" was only released on a very limited hand-spread promo 12inch, which was especially pressed for the Kunstdisko art-project for the 24th Olympic games in 1988 in Seoul / South-Korea. Together with the Goethe Institut they created the "Kunstdisco" project for germany, which was located at the Yoido Ankara Square and took part for the german Seoul Olympic Art Festival. The Ströer Brothers, who were responsible for the video & music sector, invided and encouraged 25 young german composers and producers (among of them was the young DJ West Bam) to produce new music for the Kunstdisco between Rap and new electronic club music from the end of the 80´s. The Ströer Brothers, together with Howard Fine & Nadeen Holloway, were presented through many DJ´s who played their music that they espacially created for this event. Next to the in-house project Mudegg, the single audio tracks of "Night Falls" were givin to musical buddies like First Touch, Enzo Elia, DJ Rocca, Siggatunes and Manelet to remix them and Black Pearl is more than proud to present a great variety of remixes, styles and visons on the original track.

The Campfire Headphase is the third studio album by Boards of Canada. Released by Warp Records in October 2005, the album featured the addition of more organic musical elements, including heavily treated acoustic guitars and more conventional song structures. It received generally positive reviews from critics, and reached number 41 on the UK albums chart.

Warp knows how to repress a record. Sounds incredible.
