Montpellier based artist Hubwar present its first LP on Noizion Recordz with jungle, Ambient, Dubstep, Breaks and more influences ! Must have project

Hubwar is one of those artists who have been noticed by crossing the borders that previously separated IDM and bass-music. "Eikonoklastes", first album and cornerstone of his own imprint Noizion Recordz, already opens the possibilities : a subtle blend of electronica, dubstep, jungle and footwork. If this frst opus was rather cosmic, this new album brings us back to our planet, more precisely into the “Deep Earth”.
In this journey with a thousand cultures, we wiggle on Brazilian rhythms with “Sambacraft”, enter a state of trance in the “Kudumbigala's” jungle, move our heads on “Northern Mali’s” trap-like beat, regain the dancefoor on a furious dubstep entitled “Acid Ababa", get lost in the tribal drums of “Far From" and hover over the atmospheric dub of "Slow ". In short, "Deep Earth" can be heard both on the living room turntable or on a big sound system in a dance hall.

WREKIN HAVOCPlaying With FireAccording to the mildly amusing back story that accompanies this debut release from the Wrekin' Havoc crew, the crew of crate diggers turned re-editors behind the series make their wares in a cave in deepest wales, armed with just a computer and a pile of Balearic-minded wax. Whatever the real story, there's plenty to savour on their first outing. Opener 'Oh La Lover' is a tasteful tweak of an obscure, slap bass-sporting, mid-tempo French disco number from the early '80s, while 'Love Shock' breathes new life into an electrofunk era slab of Gallic rap/synth-pop fusion. On the reverse, the cave dwellers first play around with a boogie-era, drum machine-propelled cosmic disco number ('We're Truckin'), before delivering a saucer-eyed delight in the shape of the luscious 'Catch Me If You Can'.
On the A side Venezuelian / Bruxelles based artist Bear Bones, Lay Low (well known for his shamanic unstoppable live acts) brings us a faster than usual track. Turbo exotic beats, distorted bass and psychedelic waves. Lick that toad and enjoy the flight !On the B side we celebrate the come back of High Wolf who was focused on his Black Zone Myth Chant alias those last years. After worldwide tours and more than 20 releases on labels like Not not fun, Sun Ark, Leaving Records or Consternation, Maxime P. woke up the wolf for some heavy looping beats. Is it slomo dub infused tribal house or the weirdest hardtechno you ever heard ? Only your legs have the answer.
